Our Mission
The mission of the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation (GDYF) is to develop and provide broad-based financial support to enhance and expand Georgia Dairy Youth Programs conducted via state, district, county, national and local activities.

Bylaws and Management
The Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation was officially incorporated on May 18, 2009. An application for nonprofit 501 C-3 status has been submitted with the U.S. Treasury and we hope to be approved as a nonprofit organization by spring 2010.

The management of the GDYF will be composed of twenty-four directors elected for three year terms. Fifteen directors on the Board will be Georgia dairy producers and/or commercial dairy heifer producers. The remaining nine directors may include individuals from the dairy industry, breed associations, extension agents, agribusinesses, and 4-H or FFA. Current officers include : Dr. Larry Guthrie, Chairman; Everett Williams, Vice Chairman, Madison; Adam Graft, Americus; and Jeff Smith, Comer. The Board will also include two ex-officio members that will serve as non-voting and non-rotating directors. These two ex-officio members shall be a State Extension Dairy Specialist from UGA and the Executive Director for the Georgia Milk Producers.
