Promotion
Georgia Milk Producers engages in several events across Georgia to promote Georgia's dairy industry among the public, youth, and government officials. Annually GMP participates in the Georgia Ag Awareness Week celebration, Sunbelt Ag Expo, Georgia Farm Bureau Convention, Putnam County Dairy Festival, and provides milk for Steak Biscuit Day at the Capitol. Our organization also promotes the Georgia dairy industry year-round by strengthening ties with government officials, connecting with industry professionals, and informing the public through social media campaigns.
Georgia Milk Producers also supports the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation, The Dairy Alliance, and the Georgia Mobile Dairy Classroom.
Youth Programs
Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation
We strongly support the dairy youth programs in Georgia through the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation. With the help of Georgia Milk Producers, the Georgia Dairy Youth Foundation was formed in 2009 to develop and provide broad-based financial support to enhance and expand Georgia dairy youth programs held at the local, state and national levels. Georgia Mobile Dairy Classroom
Georgia's Mobile Dairy Classroom is a dynamic and fun educational program operated by the Agricultural Commodity Commission for Milk. The 30 ft. Mobile Dairy Classroom features a fully operational milking parlor containing a live cow used for milking and feeding demonstrations.
